Android 4.0 will officially launch in the US with the debut of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus smartphone. However, some of 4.0′s new features have set off security warnings with IT experts. Click through to find out what you need to watch out for.

Face Unlock

If the encryption on Android 4.0 is stronger than earlier devices, the device with weaker encryption becomes the weak link in the chain. Android 4.0 devices will only be as secure as the other devices it communicates with. It might also be possible for a third party to unlock the phone using a picture of your face.

Email Copy and Paste

It could be possible to take email content or data from file attachments and open it in third-party apps that may not provide the same level of security.

Android Beam

If the data being shared between Android devices is not encrypted, there is the potential that it could be intercepted.
